Brendon is a Canadian writer based in Berlin. He writes fiction, poetry and non-fiction, and his writing engages with issues of queer love, spirituality, and ecology. He is currently working on his first novel, a queer coming-of-age story set during the climate crisis (a.k.a. today). Using a modernized flood myth, the work explores questions of (queer) love and belonging in such an uncertain future. Brendon is completing a Master's of Fine Arts in creative writing from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. He is also an urban planner and social policy nerd. Whether through art or policy, he is interested in the stories that shape society and help us visualize a more just future.
